How build-on-your-lot works →Brightview honors buyer-broker representation when the relationship is established before we engage your client directly. If we're already actively working with the buyer and the broker relationship hasn't been registered with us, we can't retroactively cooperate on a commission.
The fix is simple: register the buyer's name with us first — at minimum the buyer's full name and your contact info. This puts the broker relationship on the record. We'll confirm registration back to you in writing and include the co-op terms applicable to the path your client ends up taking. If your client later visits one of our properties, calls us directly, or fills out a form, you're protected.
